2008 Presidential Candidate Matching Quiz

Well, one semester down, meaning one semester closer to graduation. It's crazy to think how close I'm going to be to graduating. T_T It really doesn't help either that I'll (probably) graduate a semester early.

And I'm already starting to freak out about my schedule for next semester. Whilst looking at graduate school requirements for Art Therapy, I discovered that many of the school have the requirement of taking a certain amount of credits in art, particularly a drawing class, a 3D/sculpture class, and a painting class. Well, crap! I took painting this last semester, but I have not taken the other two! What makes life even better is that drawing and sculpture are offered in the spring only. Unfortunately, I CAN'T take drawing because it conflicts with my Abnormal Psychology class, which is 1)needed for my major and 2)a requirement for graduate schools. DX

So...what does this mean for me? Well, this means that I need to overload this semester by adding the sculpture class into my schedule. But guess what? I try an add the class to my schedule and I get a message saying that I will be overloading and I can't do that because I overloaded this last semester because I took 17 credits, one more than the standard! WTF?! *headdesks* One credit over and it's considered overloading? That's a load of crap. Anyway, this means that as soon as I get back to school, I will have to talk to my advisor and convince her to let the registrar let me overload again. I mean, I could theoretically drop my printmaking class and just take sculpture, but the way I see, the more experience with different media I have, the better, right?

But other than the whole schedule/graduate school fiasco (which is stressing me out a LOT more than it should, I know), things have been going pretty well. My parents and I took my roommate out to celebrate her birthday this past Tuesday and she left for Texas on Thursday. I haven't heard from her yet, but hopefully she is having fun.

Which brings me to another one of my worries for this next semester. I'm not going to have a roommate. It's going to be hard, and I know I made the choice to keep the room a single (I just do NOT feel like putting up with someone's crap if they are dirtier/cleaner than I am or if we have no common interests and it's like some stranger is sharing a room with me *shudder*), but it's that fact in combination with the fact that so many other of my friends aren't or may not be on campus that makes it...well, just thinking about it makes me feel really lonely already. I know that Nicole, Erica, and Anna will still be there, and for that I am thankful, but we don't have a class together this semester for the first time in 2 1/2 years, and also, Nicole and Erica are commuters, so they go home at night...when it's the loneliest. I just hope we can figure out a way that we can all just meet and hang out and vent and such. It would really really help.

Anyway, the rest of the break is pretty uneventful. I'll be going to my cousin's house for Christmas, which will be a lot of fun this year because I get to see my niece get to REALLY enjoy the Christmas experience (she's 3). :) After that, I'll be headed off to my aunt and uncle's house in North Carolina for New Year's. Thankfully, my cousin will be there too, so I get to hang out with her for a little after not seeing her for a few months.

After New Year's, I have no idea what I'll be doing. Probably just work on some artwork or write a few UlquiHime one-shots or something. I think I should just rest up as much as I can before this coming semester because I can already tell it's going to be a doozy. >_<

The only decent thing to come out of this is that these problems make my problems with my feelings for a certain...person seem like a grain of sand. ^_^;




Wow, I think that's the most that I have ever ranted in a post before. It feels so good to just let it all out. Hmm...I really should do this more often. Anyway, I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a very happy new year! :)

I was having a conversation with my mom and she was teasing me about my crush. So, we were talking and joking when she says:

" I wouldn't mind having him as my son-in law..."

o_O OMGWTFBBQ?!? At first, I thought she was joking, but then she told me that she was serious. I swear, if I hadn't already been sitting down, I would have fainted when I heard that.

As a result, I had to drop that psych. class and add the painting class back to my schedule...
